A properly designed weight training
program burns calories at a high rate not only during the session, but after
the workout your metabolism stays elevated at a high level for several hours.

Your muscles are your calorie-burning
engine; the more muscle you have, the more calories you burn. But
don't worry, you don't need to bulk up to increase metabolism-boosting
muscle. Even with just a few pounds of new muscle (just enough to
